| Post subject: | Why can't i view most pics in my email/websites? |
I have no idea why but I cannot view any pictures in my email and now i noticed its happening on websites too. What do I have to update in order to fix this? I did not alter any settings as far as I know. What settings should I look at because I've checked and I don't see any problems... |

run windows updates. i know it sounds retarded but this has been a problem at my work for awhile now and updating seems to fix it. also update adobe flash and reader. if that doesn't work then its probably something to do with your security settings. control panel >internet options >security. maybe their too strict... |

are you using Zone Alarm firewall? I remember a long ass time ago when i had Zone Alarm, it did to me exactly what you're describing. If you happen to be using it and Falcon's solution doesn't work, I'd get the hell rid of it. |

i'm having a similar problem vision. starting to get pretty pissed off. i'm thinking maybe i installed a program that changed some setting about what program views certain image files or something. i really hate trying to pinpoint issues like this... |

I wouldnt know where to begin trying to diagnose this without actually being at your computer, where it'd probably take me 5 minutes to say "oh i know what it is". Couple questions to help us hone in on the prob: 1) Which browser are you using? Include the version number if possible. 1a) Do you install plug-ins for your browser? Which ones are you using? 2) Are your problems confined to the web browser? What if you use another browser like chrome or firefox? 3) Do you have this prob when trying to view images outside the browser? Such as a "porn images" folder on your desktop? |
