Is a Celeron-D 2.9ghz proccesor as good as a Pentuim 4 2.9ghz proccesor?

Try doing a little digging in on Pentuim 4s and Celeron D basics. Try and read some feedback that buyers might have left. I would so do it my self, but, ya know, I hate hippies.
