This is a period . This is a comma , This is an exclamation point ! This is a question mark ? Using these four basic forms of punctuation can change one long sentence into something that can be read. Try it! I'll help you out a bit: I have a laptop with an 80 gb hard drive. I want to upgrade to 120 gb, but I don't know what type of additional connection devices I need. Any ideas? To answer your question, no, can't help ya bud. However, if you need grammar lessons, give me a shout! |

Your BIOS on the laptop should tell you which connection type it is. Chances are it's SATA though. But other than that, good luck switching the hard drives on a laptop. |

You can access the BIOS when you startup the computer...not sure exactly which button the push, but it's either like F2 or F10, something like that. Not exactly my forte, but I at least know that. |

But other than that, good luck switching the hard drives on a laptop. When your computer is booting up, early in the process there should be a screen that say on it "Press [key] to enter BIOS". That key is usually Delete, F8 or F10. It'll tell you which one, so just press it (I hold it since I still can't figure out why sometimes it doesn't take) and poke around. Don't change any settings though because you may end up harming your computer if you don't know what you're doing. |

well, I would highly recommend for him that he take it somewhere to upgrade it if he doesn't know where to find the bios...most likely whoever upgrades the system will know which hard drive to use. |
