To fix this problem you need to go to the system.ini file and check the [vcache].
If there is nothing there, add these lines under the word [vcache]:
MinFileCache=****
MaxFileCache=****
It should look like this.

CS mod version: C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -game cstrike -console
Change it to this:
CS retail version: C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike.exe -console -heapsize *****
CS mod version: C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -game cstrike -console -heapsize *****
Replace ***** with 75% of your total memory in KB, ex. you have 128 MB RAM then
heapsize should be 98304. 1 MB = 1024 KB.

Post subject:	Interwebzor Problem------Please Help
I just moved from Florida to South Dakota. I switched from Comcast internet to this MidContinent company here in the Midwest. I get decent ping and the connection is fast, but about every 20 minutes or so this message occurs and it boots me out of vent and CZ instantly. Also, when I try to download something for more than like an hour and leave, it says that my download was canceled because the connection to the server was reset... Have you seen this message before? And if so, is it an Internet issue, or my computer messing up somehow? Any help would be great, because it really interupts any decent playing time with these little spikes.

Well I finally made it to that System folder, and now I can't find anything that says VCache. I would make something that says VCache and put the writing in there, but it is a bunch of sub folders, not like a config or something that I can write in. Any help from this step?
