 HDMI vs RCA Jacks ?
Ok so I just got myself a 32" LCD TV with HDMI 1080p or whatever. And I want to know what the differance is between a RCA Jack compared to the HDMI Cable and if the HDMI Cable is worth buying ?

All I can say is, I have a 60 inches Sharp HDTV in the living room with a PS3 connected using HDMI connection on 1080. And let me tell you buddy ...............purrrrrfect. HDMI is the new thing with High Def. If you're planning on adding components to your TV you gotta make sure your components are HDMI capable if you plan using HDMI, I have a ps3 and a HD/DVR receiver connected to my TV and they're all HDMI capable. Bad thing is my TV only has 1 HDMI port so I cant connect the HD/DVR and ps3 at the same time..

I think that RCAs are considered "dumb" connectors in that they only transmit info in one direction where as HDMI cables (mega-$$) serve as a two way info transmitter between your source and your output. I think they are worth using to take full advantage of 1080p.

So far two people have stated explicitly that HDMI is the way to go!
And that's really weird considering that HDMI was created as TEH l33t standrad for HD interfaces.
And it's weird because everyone who uses HDMI loves it.

Of course you need the HDMI cable. You never ever want to go cheap on the cables. The most expensive are generally the best.I spent close to 200 bucks upgrading my home theater speaker wire, sub cable and coax.I remember walking out of circuit city thinking im such a dumb ass for dropping that much coin on wire. When i got it all rewired i was in awe of how much sound i had been missing out on. yeah spend the cheese and get the hdmi cable. I use monster cables myself. ebay is a good place if your a penny pincher. Unlike someone else my tv has 2!!! hdmi inputs so my ps3 and dvr can be hooked up at the same time. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02
I really did wish tvs had more inputs in general. Those damn hdmi spliters/switchers are expensive.
Hdmi will give you the BEST picture!
