 Steam Problem For some reason every time i open up steam it updates and when the my games window opens it says that everything i installed is not installed. Anyone know why?

Reinstall steam and the games.. Make it think it won, but you know you are truly better than it

lol nice ok i did that but steam install won't finish downloading so it doesn't save steam on my desktop and i can't find steam to open it

what you can do is just do a windows search for "steam.exe" and delete everything but the steam.exe from your steam folder and run the steam.exe and it will download everything again for you...

Download this.
Extract anywhere but the Steam folder and run the .exe!

ok thank you but i think i fixed it already and that was the problem i couldn't delete it because it kept saying couldn't find steam.exe folder

ok i thought wrong i can't delete it now because it says it could not open install.log folder and i can't install it cz again because i have no memory left

i juss deleted steam off my comp and started again rom scratch from the cd i installed with
