TO solve this problem as stated by steam: 1. You need to uninstall steam and cz 2. Reinstall steam 3. Go to your steam apps and click delete on your username 4.Uninstall steam again 5. Reinstall steam again TADA

Okay since a bunch of people are having this problem... EXIT STEAM. Go to your steam directory, default: C:/program files/valve/steam. Find the icon entitled ClientRegistry.blob. CUT AND PASTE this icon onto your desk top [to back it up]. Close the window. Double click Steam. Viola fixed.
