Okay, I'm sick of it. Sometimes, when I'm playing CZ, I'll all of a sudden start getting 20-40 FPS and I'll start to hear a faint noise in my headphones. Hearing that, I always know that it's a specific problem and I have to restart in order to fix it. I used to think it my graphics card overheating. But Baldreaper says his GPU was at 75 degree celcius.. mine is at 50. I don't know what it is, but I'm sick of it, it's so annoying.

Are those temps taken while under load or just after?Reason i ask is your gpu will cool very quickly.I would run ati tool to stress it and have everest open at the same time to check temps. Also it could be your cpu throttling back becuase of heat.So keep an eye on those temps also.Let us know how it goes. |

Turning on the 3D view it shoots straight up to 62 degrees. |

It's happened before on WoW, like once. I don't play enough of any other games, other than quake 1, and I doubt that would cause something like this. |
