Only if you get Wireless G, baby. Only if you get Wireless G. But honestly I'd stick with a wire because.... well, mainly because I'm right next to my router and modem so it's not like I need wireless so I can't justify losing the bandwidth a wire has when I need to transfer stuff between my computers.

As long as the wireless is faster than your connection to the internet, you shouldn't notice a difference.

My cordless phone sometimes disconnects me when it rings, so now I need a new phone.

I remember using 1200 Baud tty connections.

Heres my dilema, my roomates comp is way on the other side of the house so I dont want to have a wire running from his room to mine. The router is also in his room so I figured I could just get a wireless card and save us the hassle of running wires so far. Now when the lesbian move out we can put our comps in the same room, but the we could lan hack the shit out of yuse guys

Hey spidey, I just went wireless at my apartment. I got the 2.4 GHz Linksys-G. As far as a signal and its strength, I run it about 50 ft away and it gets a decent signal, as for running it across a house like your talking, I'm not sure.

One thing that I do notice is that it gimps my LAN line a bit, so it does steal some of its strength to put out the wireless signal. I don't use the wireless computer to game on, it's a laptop that I stuck the Mrs. with. She plays a little CS, and WHEN she gets into servers her ping is just fine and stable, but server acquisition is tough. She gets the list and then the pings jump, etc.

Hope I helped you a bit.
