Alright...don't know if i'll explain this right or not, but here goes: For awhile now, ever since I came back from CA, I'll be playing CZ for like 15 mins, then all of a sudden, I'll lag out and my CZ will shut down automatically, no error message or anything...it'll just shut down. I've already tried deleted that .blob thing, cuz that seems to work for everything, but that didnt work. Anyone have ANY ideas?? |

SON OF A BITCH! Now, I was playing CZ...went to go make myself a drink, came back...and my computer restarted while i was gone! Came back on and got "Your computer recovered from a serious error" message....send all that shit in and got this: Error type : Windows stop error (A message appears on a blue screen with error code information) Solution available? : No (see Next steps) What does this error mean? : Windows has encountered an error from which it cannot recover and needs to restart Cause : Unknown device driver Computer symptoms : A message appears on a blue screen with error code information (for example: e.g. 0x0000001E, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED) Additional steps for you to take : Important: Please continue to send error reports so analysts at Microsoft can study and try to correct the problem as quickly as possible EDIT: Thinking back, I think I had this problem before, and it was just because my shit was overheating. Does that sound right? |

Mindless wrote: it actually sounds like it's an overheating problem...possibly. Yeah..i've got a fan blowing on my computer now, and there's no problems...so its just an over-heating problem. i'm gonna work on finding a cooling fan tomorrow. |

go into your bios and see how fast the fan is running on your CPU, mine runs about 3,200 RPM. If it's running a decent speed, then just pick up some thermal paste and slap it on the heatsink. That's the cheapest route to take, because even if it is the fan, atleast you made an effort to save a bit of cash. |

I agree with drawnn. An overheating problem, or it could also be a memory problem. But most likely, the shutting down and restarting thing, it is over heating. The reason i say "Bad Memory" is because when i first got my custom machine, my memory was bad and i had to send it back. It would do the same thing. There are sevral programs that tell you the temperature of your machine. So if it isn't your computer overheating, give that memory a try. Im not saying it's the problem, but it could be. Oh nevermind, guess it was the overheating thing. Lol. Good job mindless. |

Yeah....I can tell its an overheating problem. When it gets REALLY hot outside (which is like every day since this is summer in FL), it can get pretty hot inside my house...when that happens is when i have problems with my computer. When it stays pretty cool inside my house, my computer's fine. So yeah...i'll have to find some kind of extra cooling fan to put somewhere. Thanks for all the help fags. |

I had this overheating problem once as well and I endup finding that was a program causing it. I look at task manager and realized a program was dragging the whole CPU. I just unistalled and problem solved. NO cooling fun or anything needed. |
