Post Crash'd Computer?
What causes a computer to crash?

Also, my girlfriend tried to change the theme on her computer (WindowsXP) and everything went all black. Like, everything. Anyone know how to fix that?

Ryan how did she try and change the theme? With a program? or just by right click and change? Because if it was WinXP Customize then uninstall it and it will go back to the default.

Lots of things can cause a computer to crash IE Heat, HD failing etc, what errors are you getting?

Mine isn't gonna crash, I'm just asking hypothetically. So if it crashes, it'll give you an error?

generally it will give u the blue screen of death. most computer have a diagnostics test u can access in the boot process that will tell you what crashed i.e. your video card or hard drive or what.

Sometimes a computer can give an error.

Sometimes it will restart.

It can be caused by programs

It can be caused by a crappy computer

It really depends just gotta let us know when something happens, then we will know what's going on.
