I am trying to find a program to cut together some demos and make a video out of them. I am familiar with video editing, but only with Final Cut Pro and that won't help me here.
I was basically wondering if anybody knew of a video editing program I could download (for free if possible) that would do basic cuts and I could add music, nothing fancy. Thanks guys.

Program for conversion?
Crayola told me fraps, and so far it has worked just fine. It is kind of a pain to go in and basically demo a demo, but it is the only way I know of to make it not a .dem file.

A way that gives more quality is startmovie 90. I haven't been able to get it working for some reason, after trying three or four times. It gives you 90 .bmp files for every second you record, you then convert those into an AVI. The AVI has always lagged or caused some sorta problems for me with whatever program I was using.
Fraps is the easiest way.
