if its saying reconnecting like that, its usually something about your connection. when you try connecting, are you running aol or any other intetnet things to make sure you're actually connected to the internet?? i dont know. that's what happens to me.

Is a firewall blocking steam? It would sometimes stop me from connecting to a server before I figured it out.

do you have the server IPs correct? if you use the join screen, don't pay attention to this, but if you use the console you may be using a wrong IP

You might also need to buy a new power supply.
