Steam not working?

 Steam not working?So, uh, today I turned on my computer and noticed that the steam icon in the task bar didn't show up. So, I clicked on the desktop icon, yet nothing happened. I uninstalled steam, then tried to reinstall it. It said it was updating. However, I was never prompted to log in or anything. After it updated, I was basically in the same situation I was in before, because it still wouldn't show up in the taskbar. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Open up your task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and close any instances of Steam running, wait for it to completely exit (out of the task manager list). Then try opening it again.
Try restarting your computer, too. |

try task manager processes and hit steam.. im sure you got it though by now

There's a list of programs that interfere with Steam. Look through them in case that might be the problem. If not, say so and I'll dig deeper. _________________ I got a sex change. |
