Post CSZ Gone Haywire!
I have no idea what the hell happend but all of a sudden...

My Condition Zero game itself seems to lag my netgraph says 8 fps at the main menu, with out anything open such as options or servers

1.6 runs fine and smooth and so does source but not csz, ive del all the local content from my computer pertaining to csz and re downloaded with the same problem. I dont know what happend that caused this, ive never had this problem before. my computer is pretty beefy
pent dual processor 3.2ghz
2gbram etc.

any ideas?

If I were you I'd delete my config and start with a fresh one. Sounds like something got messed up in it, maybe an admin was F*CKIN' with it in some other server, or maybe even a n00bfest server. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_19

First try: Steam/steamapps/username/conditionzero/czero

and there is a file named config.cfg... Delete it and start cz and see if it works

This happened to me once...

What happened to me was my video renderer got changed to "Software" instead of OpenGL. I just changed it back under the videos option window and everything worked fine again. You probably don't have the same problem, but whatever.
