Ok so there is a chance that I can find some memory at work. If i do in fact find it will it work? The memory will be coming out of a hewlett packard and going into my dell. I now have 512 but would like to double that. I have looked at the memory and it says, Hewlett packard 512 DDR RAM. Just wanted to know if I could throw this into my dell.

is it the same type as your computer


ie 2700, 3200 ect.


i belive some 3200 will work with 2700 (backwards compatible)

IDK its whatever dell puts in. I heard that you can only use dell memory.
