 PING anybody know whats wrong with my ping, in the main server i get around 20, but in the elite i have like a 2000 ping, I just switched to using an ethernet cable on my college network, but i havent changed anything else.
any ideas on how to fix the problem???

i get a ping of 52 on the funmaps but all the other severs are close to 300...is it my connection or did something change with the other servers

nope only xfire and vent... i did change from using a wireless cable connection to a college DSL connection, i think that has something to do with it but i dont know how to fix it

I run xfire, teamspeak, vent, aim, teh interweb, and im either downloading or uploading something most of the time...CABLE FTW!

I think steam is been extremely garbage lately, a lot of weird stuff has been happening... Like all vac secured servers going un vac'd for like 5 hours, then steam friends being extra gay, random servers, for more than us being pinged over 300 or 500...

ya, my problem is fixed too, it was only temp (like an hour or so) kind of a pain to try and play with a 300 ping though
