 problem with laptop

Post problem with laptop
ok, my laptop has both windows 2000 and xp on it. today i tried going on xp, but i get the message: windows could not start because the following file i mising or corrupt:
\windows\ytem32\onfig\system.

Windows 2000 works fine tho. what can i do to fix the problem?

Put in your XP disc, boot off of it, then when you come to the menu after the files are loaded, select repair, and it'll install the missing files.

lol that happened to my...i just restarted my computer and it worked fine o.0
