| Post subject: | Is there room at the Pub for a Guiness joke? |
An Irishman walks into a pub and orders three pints of Guiness. The bartender brings them to him, and he drinks them one by one and leaves. This goes on every night for some weeks, and the bartender's curiosity gets the better of him, so he winds up asking the guy why he always orders three pints. The man says "My two brothers and I were great pub-crawlers back home, but one is now in Australia, the other's still in Dublin, and here I am in the States. So every night we all go to our local pub and drink to each other's health." The bartender remarks that it's a nice custom. Some time later, the man walks into the bar and orders just two pints. As the bartender's pouring them he thinks "something must have happened to one of his brothers!" So as he gives the Irishman his drinks he says "I don't know what happened to your brother, but you have my deepest sympathies." And the man looks at him puzzled, and says "Oh, no, my brothers are fine! I've just given up drinking." ----- Sorry I always start my first posts off with a joke.. great stories in here. Life , stories and Beer.. what else is there in this world?? |
