Post Rest in peace, friend.
On monday morning at sometime around midnight (though time is not exact), Stanislav Krivosheev (known as stas, or macros) was driving with his father somewhere in suwanee, Georgia when an oncoming car hit him on his passenger side, knocking him unconcious. He was brought to the hospital and soon slipped into a coma, and from there he died not too long after. He was 17 years old, a 4.0 student, the entire high school's valedictorian, and an amazing athlete. On top of that, stas was one of the most amazingly intellectual people you would have ever talked to. In all aspects of life he was a genius, and through his smarts and witt he always found a way to make you life and just feel good about life in general. He had a warm heart and an amazing personality, and was by far one of the most sincere, nicest, and respectful person i've ever met (online or not). Someone like deeHoc, white-oral and myself have known him since..well, since he started joining internet boards. I've personally known stas and played CS with him since 2002.

Though I know many of you had never even talked to him, you might have seen him play in the #noble matches or scrims before, he used to go under the alias macros, ytlas shrugged (as a joke) and a few other things. This is what I posted on the memorial myspace I made for him that a few of his friends (online and IRL) have posted on, and many people are requesting friend invites.

Quote:
much like steven said, and what is said in the above section, i too can not get over what stas was leading up to. he was one of the most intellectually gifted people i had ever talked to, always thinking on the rational side of things but still never taking things too seriously.

it's hard to describe your feelings when something like this happens, especially to someone like stas. even though most of us (especially someone like me) were far away, his influence on us all was greatly felt, before and after this experience. none of us really expected this to happen to someone like stas; someone with such a great personality, life, and general pursuit of happiness.

stas was someone that you knew would grow to be great, not only because of his work ethic and lifestyle but because of the way he could interact with people. he could go from being a free loving guy who laughed and joked to someone who was completely focused and serious in a debate or a discussion.

i could go on for days about stas but i know he wouldn't want that out of me, he would want me to keep it simple and straightforward and would expect nothing more than that.

always love ya man, wish you could see all this.

Lest not forget, Stanislav Olegovich Krivosheev, 6/7/1989 - 10/16/06.

It's not him, it's a memorial. Someone else set it up.

Wow. At a very young age. I hate it when young people die from car accidents. Well it may be true, God always take the good ones first. May he rest in peace.

That's like some people on here dying. We're friends and 17 years old, all of us smart (whether the grades show it or not). I can definitely relate. Must be hard, but don't let it get you down.
